We had a great Thanksgiving dinner crowd this year.  Turner Marine and lots  of starving loopers enjoyed a Thanksgiving dinner in the breezeway that was as enjoyable as any in recent memory.  In general, boaters are interesting people and Great Loopers are especially interesting, in particular, as good food and holiday spirit inspired everyone.  Tall tales about the varied adventures of the trip down river were as easy to come by as turkey, dressing and cranberry sauce.

As part of our marina renovation, we have revised a certain number of slips to accommodate vessels up to 20' of beam.  This allows motor vessels, trawlers and some catamarans easy access into and out of those slips in our very well protected marina basin.

 After the long float down the river comes the inevitable repairs and upgrades which make the next leg of the trip possible and more enjoyable.  Whether you are headed for Key West or  Panama, we have the  technicians and experience to make ready your vessel for such a voyage. 

Current projects include:

Fuel tank replacement which requires moving both engines for access and replacement along with a complete analysis of everything  that can be repaired when the boat is in this stage.

Working on prep for tank removal-trained mechanics

 Mast Stepping ,which suggests that since your rig is down, gives you the opportunity  to renew whatever needs to be looked at such as rigging, antennas, all internal cabling, corroded fittings, swage inspection, etc.

Haulout and survey leading to the repair of a multitude of propellers, wiring, battery and instrument issues on a half dozen "sold" brokerage boats.  Turner Marine is  the best  resource available on the upper gulf coast for haulout  for survey, packing a boat for shipping and shipping of sail or power yachts to any location worldwide.  We will make every effort to meet the customer's time schedule.
