| Can you help in the Library? |
First, thank you to all of the parents and teachers who have done so much to support our Loma Vista Library. Your financial support as well as all the books you have donated have provided many new reading adventures for our kids!
Last year, after researching different programs and consulting with the teachers, the Loma Vista PTO invested in a new Accelerated Reading program for the library. This is a great program because we don't have to pay for and install tests for each individual book we aquire through purchase or donations - everything is all online! We do, though, have to re-label the books with their new AR classifications. We have the labels printed - it's just a matter of manpower to make it happen.
Re-Labeling Days:
While Mrs. Farrington is happy to have help with labeling any time, the best days to come in are: Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:45 to 11:30. On these two mornings, there are fewer classes scheduled in the Library so we can have free access and room to work.
We would love to have any help you can offer, even an hour is great! If Mondays and Wednesdays work for you, that's WONDERFUL! We'll see you there! If those times don't work for you, contact Mrs. Farrington at jfarrington@tustin.k12.ca.us to see if the Library is open when you would like to come in.
We look forward to seeing you in the Library!
