What Are SCRIP Gift Cards???
Negotiable store gift cards that are used
JUST LIKE CASH at any store in that chain! They are the same ones you can buy at the store, but by buying them through Loma Vista, you get credit for a % of the face value. This is now the
ONLY PTO way to earn $ for your child's 5th grade OSS Tuition.
How Does SCRIP at Loma Vista Benefit MY Child?
The % listed next to the store gets credited to your child's OSS savings account. (100.00 (4%) - Vons Supermarket (4%)= $4) You are earning money buying what you would buy anyway!
How do I start?
Select the gift cards you wish to buy, fill out the form and return to the Front Office with a check made out to the LOMA VISTA PTO
Orders can be picked-up in the Front Office the following Friday.
(Because SCRIP Gift Cards have actual cash value, orders must be signed for in the Front Office.)

Winners of the contest will be announced at the flag ceremony on February 26th. The top prize winner will receive $25. The next top five collectors are eligible for their choice of toys/books from items donated to Loma Vista. Turn in your collected box tops to the front office no later than February 19!
There is a large collection jar that is located near the secretaries, where the student and visitor sign-ins are located.
*Be sure to place a piece of paper inside the bag that states, your child's name, teacher, and number of box tops collected.
Box tops turned in without identifying information cannot be counted. |
