Can you Help?

Accelerated Reader (AR) Book Labeling Project
First, thank you to all of the parents and teachers who have done so much to support our Loma Vista Library.  Your financial support as well as all the books you have donated have provided many new reading adventures for our kids!

Last year, after researching different programs and consulting with the teachers, the Loma Vista PTO invested in a new Accelerated Reading program for the library.  This is a great program because we don't have to pay for and install tests for each individual book we aquire through purchase or donations - everything is all online!

While the program is up and running, we still have one last step to make the program fully functional - getting every book in the library re-labeled with the new reading level and points available information.  The labels are printed and ready to go, we just need some man-power so Mrs. Farrington, our wonderful librarian, can continue with her regular responsibilities.

Re-Labeling Days:
While Mrs. Farrington is happy to have help with labeling any time, the best days to come in are: Mondays 8:30 to 11:30 and Wednesdays from 9:00 to 11:30.  On these two mornings, there are no classes scheduled in the Library so we can have free access and room to work.

We would love to have any help you can offer, even an hour is great!  If Mondays and Wednesdays work for you, that's WONDERFUL!  We'll see you there!  If those times don't work for you, contact Mrs. Farrington at  jfarrington@tustin.k12.ca.us  to see if the Library is open when you would like to come in.

We look forward to seeing you in the Library!
