Holiday Service Project: CHiPs For Kids!
Loma Vista is getting into the holiday spirit!
Monday, November 30th to
Wednesday, December 16th,
Loma Vista students will be participating in the California Highway Patrol's toy collection drive.  Our students will be competing to see which class can donate the most toys for needy kids this year!  Our kids have so much...this is a wonderful chance to gift them the gift of "giving back."

What Should We Donate?
Babies/Toddlers: Child-Safe Toys
Young Children:
Board Games, Puzzles, Craft Kits, Building Sets, Sports Equipment, Hand-Held Video Games*
Teen-Agers:
CD Players, Movie Passes, Gift Certificates for books, clothing, Target, Wal-Mart
* Please no video games - these kids usually do not have computers or video game systems

Get $$ for YOUR CHILD - buy gift cards through the LOMA VISTA SCRIP Program!

The winning class will receive a cupcake decorating party with Miss Murphy on the first day back from Winter Break!
After School Monday:  Learn How To Beatbox!
After school Monday
you won't want to miss.....
world-renowned
"human drum machine,"
Jake Moulton!
Jake introduces students to the rhythmic and sonic capabilities of the human body through this engaging, signature style of vocal percussion, Beatbox.  Beatbox is a fun and exciting introduction to the popular, urban art form called "beatboxing." This interactive program will keep feet tapping and fingers snapping while students learn valuable techniques with which to express their inner rhythm.
