The Detex EAX-300 Series is designed for applications where doors may be used for egress or ingress, but may not be held or propped open. Door open times from 1 second to 4 minutes (15 second default) are field selectable. The smaller size makes installation quick and easy. Make installing Mortise cylinders on Detex Exit Alarms easier with the Cylinder Nut Socket. Screwing the Cylinder Nut on the back of the Mortise cylinder with a screwdriver alone can damage the switches and the other sensitive parts in your Exit Alarm, but when the Cylinder Nut Socket is used, it drastically reduces chances that the switches will be damaged, and will help ensure proper tightening of the Mortise Cylinder.
