Bottom bolt - 3/4" throw with 5/8" engagement

Side Deadbolt - 1" throw with 3/4" engagement

Other features and options that differentiate the ECL-230X-TDB from competitors:

  • Simple to install prevents problems and costly return visits

  • Photo luminescent sign absorbs light to then "glow in the dark"
    when lights are dimmed
  • Optional Inside Pull (IP) provides ideal grip handle to pull on while
    closing and throwing deadbolts
  • Optional DX3 bolts provide greater hinge side protection with more engagement, keeping the door locked, even if the hinge knuckles
    are cut off and removed.
  • Available with optional Interchangeable Core Cylinder, pre-installed -
    suffix IC7
  • Optional hardwired kit, powers up to 3 locks, specify: BE-961

    Tech Tip

Accurate installations are important with door hardware, but this is especially true of multipoint locking devices. Insuring each locking point is properly engaged is vital to securing an opening and providing years of trouble free operation. Strike Locators and backplate lineartEasy to follow templates, drilling round holes and job site adjustability are just a few key features in making installers happy and satisfying owners. The Detex ECL-230X-TDB was designed by installers. You are sure to admire the mounting plate, oversized / reversible strikes and never needing a cylinder collar, but that is just part of the story behind what makes this multipoint lock different. The ECL-230X-TDB has over 3" of rod / bolt adjustment that is easy to lock in place, making any installation quick and accurate.
