Fuses
The 90-800 has two fuse protection circuits, one for the input power with the other protecting the output circuit. The input fuse is replaceable (rated 1.5A 250V slow blow Detex P/N 104267-2). Field available replacements include Littlefuse #023901.6HXP or Buss #GMT-1.5. The output fuse is a thermal fuse which means if the circuit is shorted and heats up the thermal fuse, the fuse will open and protect the output circuit. Once the short circuit is corrected and the thermal fuse cools down, the circuit will be useable again.
LED Function
LED 1 - This LED, visible when the cover is open or closed, confirms the 24VAC power (transformer) is on. Green indicates power is connected but the internal switch is OFF. Amber indicated the internal power switch is in the ON position.
LED 2 -There will be no output of the power supply without J2 terminals (fire alarm input) closed (dry contact). This is a fail safe circuit for applications wired to delayed egress products. This is required for Delayed Egress Product applications. LED 2 will illuminate to confirm the fire alarm circuit is in the held closed position. LED 3 - This LED illumination means there is 24VDC on J3 & J4. If the LED 3 does not illuminate confirm the fire alarm circuit is closed. Otherwise, remove all wires from J3 & J4 to confirm there is not a short circuit.
