Greetings!

Burrrrrrrr!  Starting to get cold here in Ohio but we are keeping busy with new products and current projects.  One of these projects is Michelle Morretti's  1975 Firebird.  Michelle's 75 Pro Street page will show the progress of the car as the back half is redone along with other upgrades along with the installation of a new 511 cid MR-1A combo!  We are working together with Bill Brautigam on this project.  Some of you may recognize Bill's name as he performed a lot of work on Ron Kintz's '62 Pro Street GP that was featured in the last newsletter.

Brian Frank's 1968 Firebird 

This is Brian Frank's '68 Firebird convertible.  Brian upgraded his 400 cid engine with one of Tin Indian Performance's stroker kits to build a  build 463 inches of PONTIAC POWER! The engine makes 600 hp @ 5800 rpm and 596 ft lbs of torque ON PUMP GAS!  Another one of our pump gas friendly combinations with a very mild idle.  This combo idels at 950 rpm and pulls 13.9 inches of vacuume.

I have had the opportunity to ride and drive in this Bird and it is a very fun ride!  The combo uses a set of 325 cfm E heads CNC ported with a Tin Indian Performance custom ground solid roller camshaft.  Edelbrock performer RPM supports a HP 1000 4150 style carb.  I sure would like to get this combo back and try a KRE North Wind intake on it!

TIP Digger wheels Way up! 7.14 pass

            
On September 25th we ventured out to Summit Motor Sports Park in Norwalk, Ohio and reset the Naturally Aspirated Pontiac record!   Testing data showed we still have some room for improvement and we hope to get out once or twice more before making any changes to the KRE High Port Headed power plant.  The MR-1 powered Tin Indian Performance Dragster ran a best of 7.14 @ 186.51.  We also ran a 7.19 that day @ 187 mph which is our best MPH to date as well.   We now have the quickest and fastest naturally aspirated Pontiac in the world!

These are our new custom engraved billet aluminum air cleaners.  Pictured above is the air cleaner lid we engraved for the CF-71 Freedom Bird engine.  The kit includes a 14" Billet Specialities drop base 3" filter element air cleaner with a matching carb stud.  We now offer custom engraving on these air cleaner lids now starting at $85.00.  The standard Tin Indian Performance logo air cleaner kit is available for $200.00.
 
As with our custom engraved Pontiac valve covers, you are only limited by your imagination with what you can get engraved on the air cleaner lids!   Call or email us and we can send you a proof of what your design will look like on the air cleaner lid.

 Early Water Pump Gasket
 
We now offer the early water pump gasket (8 bolt).  This gasket will work great on both KRE early timing covers or stockers.   Gaskets are made from the same high quality paper and are .035 thick.  $6.50 each
