Greetings!
Hello again! With all of the hustle and bustle of the summer months we have fallen behind our monthly schedule for the newsletter. Over the past month we have finalized 2 new gaskets, performed upgrades on our CNC machine, and stared work on a SEMA project car.
We are also working on our own race cars to prepare for Norwalk which is just 5 short weeks away. This year we hope to have a new car/combo together for the event. We are very excited about this years event and it is expected to be bigger and better than ever!
Keep those wrenches turning (I know we will!) and we will see you at Norwalk, August 7th, 8th, and 9th.
Sincerely,
Kevin Swaney Tin Indian Performance, LTD.

NEW PRODUCT TIP-KRE380 |

This our latest intake gasket for the KRE High Port Head. The TIP-KRE380 is designed specifically for KRE's 380 cfm CNC ported heads. No trimming required. We make more intake gaskets for our beloved Pontiacs than any other gasket manufacturer! These gaskets are available in .062 thick material. .090 and thicker are available on special request.

NEW PRODUCT CAM BUTTON & CRANK WASHER |
We are now making our own cam buttons and crank bolt washers. Both of these new products have a black oxide coating on them for corrosion protection.
Crank washers fit inside all Pontiac balancers without modifications - unlike the ARP washer.

PROJECT CF-71 FREEDOM BIRD SEMA BUILD |
We have joined a conglomeration of other vendors to participate in the building of Ty Ingle's CF-71 Freedom Bird. Tin Indian Performance has joined forces with Kauffman Racing Equipment to build a 440 cid power plant that will be as unique as the car itself!
Check out the CF-71 Freedom Bird page for more details on the build...... |
PONTIAC NATIONALS AUGUST 6, 7, 8 @ Norwalk |
The Ames Performance Pontiac Tripower Nationals will be held @ Norwalk this year on August 7th, 8th, 9th. Tin Indian Performance will be sponsoring the street class again this year. Last year there were 446 race cars, 469 show cars and 145 swap vendors using 251 spaces at the 2008 event. This is by far the largest and BEST Pontiac event in the country. 2009 will be the 18th running of the annual event.
This year we will be giving away a pair of our Billet-TEK valve covers to one lucky winner. You can register via email until August 7th 2009. Simply email your full name, address, telephone number to kevin.swaney@tinindianperformance.com. After August 7th, registration will only be accepted at the event. Winner does not need to be present at the event to win.
** Please note we will closed the week before Norwalk preparing for the event ** |
Look for us in an upcomming issue of Pontiac Enthusiast as we build Wally Becker's 510 cid MR-1A all aluminum engine. The engine uses a set of KRE 340 cfm aluminum d ports and a very mild hydrolic roller cam. Grab the next issue of PE to see how we made out on the dyno.....
For those who don't already know, as of March 27, Pontiac Enthusiast provides online editions available FREE with an e-mail sign-up (they notify readers when new issues are ready). Yes, they still print the issues and send them to their loyal subscribers and newsstand buyers. Check them out at http://www.pontiacenthusiast.com/
Looking to build an engine? Power Hungry? We can help! Give us a call to discuss your performance goals.
