Tis the Season for Thanks!
The economy is bad, the politicians are corrupt, we're arguing over whether we need a town center. Let's all stop for a minute and think about the good. We live in one of the most beautiful towns in the world. We have a community that rallies to help us when we need it. We have a great school system and no gangs. We have police officers that find our phones and deliver them back to us (Thanks Officer Jeff!). We have stores that wrap our presents and shop keepers that greet us by name!  Toddlertime Nursery School Open House

Toddlertime Nursery School has opened enrollment for the 2011-2012 school year for ages almost 2 through Pre-K. Interested parents are invited to an open house to see, hear and feel what the "buzz" is about.  Christian Siriano Appearance L'Armoire

Don't miss L'Armoire's two day style event. On Wednesday, American fashion designer and Bravo Television's Project Runway winner, Christian V. Siriano will make a personal appearance at L'Armoire from 1-5pm. A trunk show will feature a full selection from the charismatic young designer's latest collection from day- to evening-wear as well as a preview of his spring line. Siriano's visit will mark the third time he has greeted fans and shown his collection at L'Armoire, one of the first boutiques in the country to carry his line. On Thursday from 11am-4pm, L'Armoire will host an Adesso Trunk Show featuring Designer/artist Samantha Goldstone. The event is open to the public and refreshments will be served. |
 Free Screening "Race to NoWhere"

An education documentary exploring the silent epidemic in our schools. The film examines the pressures faced by young people, teachers and parents. Suggestions for how communities can work in partnership to safeguard the health and well-being of our children. Strategies for preparing the youth of America to become healthy, contributing citizens of today and for the future. Hosted by the PFA. Saxe Middle School 5th and 6th graders will present the Jungle Book Friday, November 12th at 7pm and Saturday, November 13th at 2pm. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at Saxe November 8-11 from 2-5pm and one hour prior to each show.
 The Bank of New Canaan is hosting a free seminar entitled, "Understanding and Improving your Credit Scores" at the bank's Cherry Street branch (156 Cherry Street) on Tuesday, November 16th from 5:30-6:30pm. To RSVP call 203.652.6331.
