Local First Fund!
The following local merchants and businesses have generously donated to the Local First Fund managed by the New Canaan Community Foundation. The purpose of the Fund is to make grants to non-profit organizations that initiate programs to attract visitors and retail prospects, as well as make New Canaan an enjoyable place to live.

 DWR Consignment (33 East Ave) recently announced a gold buying event to benefit the Local First Fund. On Tuesday, March 30th from 12-5pm and Wednesday, March 31st from 2-7 Tom LaGravinese, a graduate Gemologist, will be purchasing old and unwanted gold. 20% of Tom's proceeds will be donated to the Local First Fund. Beginning at 2pm on Wednesday, March 31st, there will be free refreshments, children's entertainment and a comic impersonator and singing impressionist will appear at 4. A film crew from Hollywood will be there to film a possible documentary for a major cable network.

The yoga session will be followed by 20 minutes of meditation and crystal bowl sound healing. All fitness levels welcome!

 37th Annual Easter Egg Hunt

The Young Women's League of New Canaan presents our 37th Annual New Canaan Easter Egg Hunt! As always, children will delight in watching Mr. and Mrs. Bunny arrive on "Old Faithful". In addition to the candy filled hunt, there will be a live band, coffee and baked goods, face painting, bounce houses and the bunny hop! This event is free and open to the public. In the event of inclement weather, the Easter Egg Hunt will take place at Dunning Field/NCHS (call the bunny hotline at 594-3610 to determine location). Any monies raised will be donated to the Young Women's League Giving Fund.
HELP! EGGS DAMAGED IN STORM!
The eggs were damaged by flooding in the recent storm. The YWL and the Rotary Club are seeking monetary donations to cover the cost of the plastic eggs, chocolates and jelly beans.
