Leaving your pet in a parked car can be a deadly mistake!
It only takes 10 minutes on an 85 degree day for the inside of your car to reach 102 degrees even with the windows cracked open. Within 30 minutes, the interior of the car can reach 120 degrees. Even when the outside temperature is a pleasant 70 degrees, the inside of the car can be 20 degrees hotter. Parking in the shade offers little protection because the sun is constantly shifting.
