THE SIGNIFICANCE OF YOU

I read an article about the 70 most significant events in the Bible starting with creation and ending with John being exiled to Patmos and writing the Book of Revelation. After God created the heavens and earth, every major happening that God brought to pass included the assistance of people. Both good and bad, whatever changed the history of a person, of people and even nations included the aid of people. Imagine if each of us wrote down the 70 most significant events in our own lives, both good and bad. I am sure we would see that God had a plan and the vast majority if not all would have included the involvement of people. Think about what that means. That as people begin to pray for whatever reason or need, God already has a plan and is looking for someone just like you and me to help execute His purpose for His people.

You only need three things to be used. A heart, a head and your hands. Your heart-- a simple prayer, Lord help me have the same love and to see people like You. Your head-- to have the right mindset is critical.

People who give of their lives are not with fewer needs than others, but are people who believe and know it is more blessed to give than to receive. Your hands-- the importance of living a life of action with Spiritual guidance. Look no further than significant events in the Bible and the significant events of your own life.

In the book of James he says, "Faith by itself , if it is not accompanied by action, is dead."

Have you ever wanted to go on a mission trip to Africa to help feed, teach and care for children? Or do you have the desire to build, repair and fix various items at an orphanage,

with an opportunity to teach and share spiritual insights in many different venues?

If so, this is your time to go and experience a new dimension of serving. This will be our 5th trip to Kenya and have had people from every walk of life, age group and church involved.

Our March Home Repair Project Team

This Single Mom and her daughter have a special story that confirmed to us that God had her in our plans and had BTG in her plans.

She and her father purchased a foreclosure house with the intent of fixing it up for her family. Her father would go to different job sites looking for materials to be donated for their project. After asking if they had anything they could donate for the much needed repairs on her house, one of the crew spoke to them, told them about Be the Gift and gave them our business card. Her father believing they wouldn't need our assistance tore our business card in half and discarded it. A short time later the father unexpectedly passed away leaving his daughters project incomplete.

She and her little girl found themselves searching for answers and help. Without knowledge of her dads encounter with our business card and while cleaning her home, she found one half of our business card. With only half a name, phone and address, she had no idea what the business card represented. Believing it was important, she kept it by her phone and waited for an answer.

Then one day having no idea what she was going to do with her half finished home, in another part of the house and under some clothes she found the other half of the BTG business card.

Now being able to find our website we put together a team, repaired her home and shall we say

"the rest is history". It is God's History as He

continues to make a WAY for those who need Him.

THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT. Last month several of you contacted us and sent this DVD on. Many of you put it on your Face Book and we are grateful that you believe in our vision and goals. Once again, please watch it and activate it into "your media world". We are also available to talk to and meet any of your family and friends that you feel would like to get involved with us in some capacity. Thanks friends and keep in touch.

Be the Gift is two-fold. Our Mission is to connect those who want to help with those who need help in our community. The value for the volunteers is as great as for those they help. Both sides gain from each other. A huge part of our operation with BTG involves each of you. You may not be able to work a project with us or even support us financially, but there is always opportunity for you to do some networking and spread the word about what we do. I am attaching a DVD- it is short about 10 minutes. It highlights what we do and has testimony from some of the Single Moms we have helped.
