Chris and Marilyn Johnson - BE THE GIFT
Kenya 2011 Mission Adventure

OLD TO NEW

The Mattresses and blankets that the children were sleeping on were extremely worn as you can see in the photo. The children sleep 3 to

a bed at times.  The joy on their faces was priceless when we gave them their new bedding.

Sarah and the

New Cow

We also learned that the orphanage was in need of a milking cow.  Together with

our Mission Team,  Be the Gift purchased a Grade A cow capable of produing up to 20 liters of milk a day. The bonus was that the cow was also pregnant so there will be a calf born soon.  God is so Good.

The Miracle Seeds

Thousands of packets of various produce seeds were given to one of our Team Members to take to the orphanage.  After we got to Naharuru, we discovered that the they recently had built a greenhouse and the Director was grateful and overwhelmed knowing that these seeds will feed the orphans for years to come. Picture below is our team helping serve lunch.
