 Be the Gift is teaming up with the Wild West Relay. We have a group of 12 athletes that will be running a relay over 200 miles in 30 hours August 6th-7th

The Purpose of Life.....Is a Life of Purpose 
 
PURPOSE; It is an action.  It takes us out of our comfort zone and into a powerful, meaningful, determined and intentional life.
 
2 Corinthians 9;17 says," Let every person as they purpose in their heart, so let them give; not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver".  One of the greatest spiritual battles throughout history has always been the "desire to get" over the "desire to give."  Somehow in our human nature we see and measure success by what we have, but God has always measured success in our life by how we give.  Proverbs 22:9 says, "A generous man will himself be blessed, for he shares his life with the poor".  As you go through this summer season, purpose in your heart to have and lead a life that gives back more abundantly than you thought you possibly could.  Then watch how blessed your life will become.  Winston Churchill once said, "We make a Living by what we get, but we make a Life by what
we give."      
 
 
 Special thanks to the wonderful people at the radio station WayFm for promoting our  Single Mom Work Day.  They did studio broadcasts featuring Be the Gift for the entire month of May as well as live broadcasts the day of our three projects. They themselves came, brought their families and volunteered to help. We were proud to partner with them.
 Work Day in Littleton, Co- May 29, 2010.
It was a great day where we had more than 25 Volunteers come to help a single mom named Debbie with her home and yard repair.
This is one of the three projects we were priviledged to be part of. We appreciate all who came to help as on that sunny day in May where each of us found our "purpose". It was powerpacked with hard work, determination to finish, intent to help a mom who has had a very difficult life and it became very meaningful as we shared our time, skills and love.  
 
Work Day in Thornton, CO
 
A great team of volunteers with big hearts worked endlessly and gave up their Saturday to help  Melonie, a Single mom with 3 daughters. Their purpose to bring hope and restoration was so evident that day.  THANKS TO ALL WHO HELPED
