FULL STEAM AHEAD |

Dear Friends,
We are well underway into 2010 and it seems to be another year of great uncertainty in the world around us. As we read the newspaper, listen to the radio or watch TV, we do not have to be the brightest lightbulb in the bunch to recognize the uncertain and negative vibes of the world. However, history teaches us that some of the greatest opportunities come in times just like this. The Word of God (Romans 12:1-8) teaches us that the world around us should not dictate what we are called to do or be. So what is God's encouragement to all of us, FULL STEAM AHEAD.
All we need is God's truth and a committed heart to achieve and accomplish our dreams and goals for this coming year. Let me encourage all of us as we all pursue our destiny.
1. Take a risk - attaining dreams and goals always requires someone to be a risk taker. Now you need to seek wise council, but you'll also have people around who will say you need to be realistic. Realism can be a good thing, yet taking a risk is jumping into the great unknown where faith lives.
2. Don't be afraid of criticism - if you worry about what other people think of you, then you will have more confidence in their opinion than you have in your own. I heard it once said that; if you are afraid of criticism, you will die doing nothing. Failure only exists for the person who quits.
3. Have a committed heart - a committed heart doesn't wait for conditions to be exactly right because they are never exactly right. God can take the most common people from the most insignificant places and use them to His Glory. Most people fail at whatever they attempt because of an undecided heart. The committed heart will search for a solution, the undecided heart searches for an escape!
Marilyn and I are praying for you as we all run into 2010. We are praying that all of your goals and dreams become reality. We pray that you are willing to take a risk, not worry about opinions and that you have a committed heart. Maintain HOPE in your life. It is the shelter that protects your thought life so you can protect the image of the future God wants you to have. Keep the passion about your vision as your course has been charted and your destiny is assured.

We will be visiting Greece, Israel, Turkey, Ephesus and Egypt all from the comfort of your Cruise Cabin. Many have responded and we are in the process of taking deposits and reservations.
