Letter to the Editor- No more cow's milk!
Hello Didi,
Hope, that you are doing fine with your good work.
Me, I am fine and I just want to say to you, that now I follow the idea from your newsletter:
Instead of cow's milk, I now drink coconut-milk in the tea and coffee.
It tastes better and I don't need any more cows' milk- I've been getting an allergy as it happened before for some times.
Thanks for this good idea.
Yours, Karin

High fever kills cancer, say doctors in pioneering therapy
18 June 2009 www.wddty.com
As reported by the 'What Doctors Don't
Tell You' journal last February, a fever and a high temperature can
kill off cancer cells. Now the idea is being tested on patients with
pancreatic cancer.
Cancer specialists at a Texas hospital
are using thermal therapy to raise the body temperature of cancer
patients from the usual 98 degrees to 104 degrees, a level normally
experienced when we suffer from a bad bout of flu.
The
doctors carrying out the therapy believe it may kick-start the immune
system into action, and so fight the cancer naturally. They are hoping
that the approach will reduce the amount of chemotherapy the patient
needs.
The therapy, being carried out at the Memorial
Hermann-Texas Medical Center in Houston, is given to pancreatic cancer
patients once a month for a six-month period.
The 'What
Doctors Don't Tell You' article revealed that many cases of spontaneous
regression have followed a period of high fever. (Source: Ivanhoe Newswire, June 12, 2009; What Doctors Don't Tell You. February 2009).

Cancer Busting - Dr Hamer goes to jail
www.wddty.com
In the fight against cancer, we need all the help we can get.
Every therapy should be exhaustively studied, no matter how strange.
One such approach is that of Dr Ryke Geerd Hamer, who has advocated
that cancer is a response to some emotional conflict.
His theory has
been tested on thousands of end-stage cancer patients, and anecdotal
evidence suggests that it has been very successful.
So can we
assume the medical establishment is busily researching his theory?
Sadly not. Instead he's been arrested and put in a prison in Madrid,
and is to be extradited to France where he can look forward to three
years in jail.
He was arrested outside his Madrid home recently
under instruction from the French authorities, which have given him a
three-year prison sentence for practising medicine without a licence. The
trial results from a visit to France that Dr Hamer made in 1993 when he
attended the funeral of a friend. Although he was in France for just a
few hours, he apparently saw three cancer patients who could not be
saved by conventional treatment. All three subsequently died, and Dr
Hamer has been blamed for their deaths.
And so the fight against cancer goes on.

MMR doctor proved right in week he was condemned as 'dishonest'
www.wddty.com
10 February 2010
In the week that the doctor at the centre of the controversy over the
MMR vaccine and autism was called "dishonest, irresponsible and
callous" by a medical disciplinary board, a new study has been
published that suggests he could be right all along.
Researchers in New York have discovered that children with autism
spectrum disorder also had inflammation in the ileum, part of the small
intestine - the exact same discovery made by Dr Andrew Wakefield, who
may now lose his medical license following a 30-month hearing at the
General Medical Council.
Wakefield noted that the children he saw also had been given the triple
MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccine, and he speculated that it might
be the cause.
After the publication of his paper in The Lancet in 1998, vaccination
rates dropped dramatically as parents in the UK refused to have their
children vaccinated.
The new study, from the New York University School of Medicine,
discovered that 143 children with autism spectrum disorder also
suffered from chronic gastrointestinal symptoms, and inflammation in
the small intestine. As the vaccine is compulsory in the US, where the
children live, it is reasonable to assume that most, if not all, were
vaccinated - although the researchers do not suggest that it was the
cause of the inflammation they detected. (Source: Autism Insights,
2010; 2: 1-11).

'Dangerous' cold remedies should be taken off the shelves
'Dangerous' cold remedies should be taken off the shelves
10 February 2010 www.wddty.com
Most familiar cold and cough remedies we buy at the local pharmacy are
dangerous, and should be removed from the shelves, a new report has
declared.
Around 30 per cent of people in Europe and the US regularly use the
medications to treat colds and coughs, but nobody is telling them of
the dangers, say researchers from Galen, the Global Allergy and Asthma
European Network.
These popular remedies contain the old generation of antihistamines
which have been responsible for numerous accidents and deaths.
Teenagers have used them to commit suicide, and they are also fatal if
infants and toddlers are accidentally given an overdose.
The drugs make people drowsy, say the researchers, and they also reduce
REM (rapid eye movement) sleep. As a result, they have caused
innumerable accidents on the roads.
The new generation antihistamines are safer, but are as effective, say
the researchers. They recommend that the remedies containing
first-generation antihistamines are removed from the shelves
immediately.

Dementia could be caused by OTC drugs
03 February 2010
Dementia is one of the hidden diseases. A new report from the UK
reveals that the number of sufferers is 15 per cent higher than health
authorities had calculated - and investigations from WDDTY suggest that
over-the-counter drugs may be one of the chief causes.
Around 821,000 people in the UK suffer from dementia, but gets very
little funding for finding the causes and cures, says the Alzheimer's
Research Trust. For every £1 spent on dementia research, £12 is spent
on investigating cancer.
The numbers of sufferers are 15 per cent higher than previous
calculations had estimated, and the Trust says that it will afflict
more than 1 million Britons alone before 2025.
But a new report from WDDTY - It's drugs, not old age - suggests that
many cases of dementia are being caused by everyday drugs that people
buy at the pharmacy. Almost every commonly prescribed or
over-the-counter drug can produce symptoms that resemble dementia, such
as not remembering words or suffering short-term memory loss. Most
drugs include a nerve-blocking agent, called an anticholinergic. Some
drugs have known nerve-blocking qualities, but many drugs contain the
agent, even though the information is not listed in drugs' patient
sheets.

Cola drinks double the risk of pancreatic cancer
10 February 2010
People who drink two or more soft drinks - and especially carbonated
colas - every week double their risk of developing pancreatic cancer.
The drinks - defined by researchers as carbonated and sugar-sweetened -
increase levels of insulin, which is a known cause of the cancer. The
effect was not seen in people who drank fruit juice.
Researchers from the University of Minnesota made the discovery after
they tracked the health profiles of 60,524 men and women in Singapore
for 14 years. In that time, 140 people developed the cancer, and after
eliminating all other options, the researchers discovered they drank at
least two carbonated drinks a week. On average, they were drinking five
drinks a week.
Although the cancer is rare, it is usually fatal, say researchers.
