They won for their efforts to bring the joy of music into Baltimore public schools - schools that had lost funding for the arts.

 

By sending their artists into the shools to play, explain, encourage and teach youngsters that no matter who or where we are in this life, music can uplift us all, at any time, Concert Artists of Baltimore reminds us that despite the weight of our worries, the time to be grateful for the beauty of life is always right now.
