Thursday, October 4, 7PM Nancy Parsons and Danielle Masterson  talk about the novels they wrote last November as part of NANOWRIMO. 


October 18-20 the North Reading Garden Club presents Art in Bloom, with a reception on Thursday, October 18 at 6PM
. The event is in conjunction with The Art Pack, whose work is on display all month. 

 

The Friends' Fall Book Sale is November 1-3. Save the dates!

 Children and Teens
 

Happening this month: 

LEGO CLUB - Join us Tuesday, October 2nd at 4:00pm for Lego Club.  For grades 2 - 6. Registration required.

LEGO CLUB Jr. - Join us Monday, October 22nd at 4:00pm for Lego Club Jr.   For grades K - 2.  Registration required.

EDIBLE BOOKS - Tuesday, October 16th, 4:00pm.  Celebrate Teen Reads Week with special programs for middle and high school students.  Join us to make edible books that you can really read.  Registration required.

JUICE CARTON WALLETS - Thursday, October 18th, 4:00pm.  As part of our Teen Reads Week celebration, join us to turn an ordinary juice container into a self-closing wallet. Registration required.
 
DROP-IN CRAFTS - 3rd Wednesday of the Month
Wed.  October 17th, from  3:00 to 5:00pm  
Join us in the Children's Room to make paper pumpkins. Ages 6 and up.


HALLOWEEN FAMILY MOVIE EVENT - On Friday, October 26th, 1:30pm, spend your half day of school afternoon with us and watch a Halloween movie.  Popcorn provided. Rated PG.

DADS & DONUTS - Saturday, October 27, 10:30am. Mothers and other caregivers also welcome.

 SWEET DREAMS STORY TIME - Monday, October 29th at 6:45pm in the Children's Room.

HALLOWEEN PARTY- Tuesday, October 30, 1pm

Wear your costumes, hear stories and parade around the library!  We will have juice and cookies too. 


Y.A.B. - The Youth Advisory Board meets twice a month, on October 16th & 30th, at 4pm.  Join us for snacks and crafts, talk about the latest books and movies, assist with programming, and help plan future events.

TODDLER TALES - Tuesdays at 9:30am. A six week session starting 9/18.  Registration Required.

PRESCHOOL STORY TIME - Thursdays at 9:30am. A six week session starting 9/20.  Registration Required.

BABIES AND BOOKS - Thursdays at 10:30am. A six week session starting 9/20.  Registration Required.

STORIES AND SONGS - Fridays at 9:30am. A six week session starting 9/21.  Registration Required.
