Dear Library User,
Thank you to Judy Colburne, of the North Reading Garden Club, for creating the beautiful arrangement of vegetables and flowers, inspired by The Dirty Life: A Memoir of Farming, Food, and Love by Kristin Kimball, the North Reading Reads 2012 selection.
Everyone we spoke to really enjoyed the book. People are amazed and inspired by how hard Kristin Kimball and her husband work on their farm. Luckily, the season for farmers' markets is just beginning. We hope you enjoy fresh, local fruits and vegetables this summer, from your own garden or from someone else's.

On Library Snapshot Day, Thursday, April 12, please stop by the library- we'll be taking photographs all over the building, to share with other Massachusetts libraries on flickr, as we tell the Flint Memorial Library story!
