UCO Small Business Development Center News - January 26, 2010

Greetings!

This week we will be offering our Business Planning 101 seminar.  You can read about the specifics here and to register.  If the weather is bad on Thursday, we'll let you know in these ways if we are going to have the seminar or reschedule.

We would like to take this time to introduce you to our newest employee, Pat Wollenberg and to thank long time employee Barbara Scott, who is moving deeper into her longstanding artistic endeavors.

Welcome to Pat Wollenberg pjw
When you call or come to the office, you're going to hear a new voice or see a new face!

We are excited to introduce you to Pat Wollenberg who is our latest part-time addition to the SBDC team and will keep us in line administratively!

She most recently retired from the Episcopal Diocese of Oklahoma where she worked for the Bishop.  She assures us that she does not have an extra direct line to God, but sometimes our businesses want miracles, so you never know......

We were super excited to be able to snatch her up, and she is glad to be with us as well!

Many thanks to Barbara for her years of employment with us. She is now moving forward with her longstanding artistic endeavors. In the picture with Barbara is one of her designs highlighting the Sacred Paintbrush Memorial (carefully guarded by Dr. Carlos Amaya) that was used to renovate our office space. Holding the paintbrush are three hands representing the infamous painters - Susan, Carlos, and Larry. To see Barbara's work go to her website.
