A man goes to his doctor and says, "I don't think my wife's hearing is as good as it used to be. What should I do?"
The doctor replies, "Try this test to find out for sure. When your wife is in the kitchen doing dishes, stand 15 feet behind her and ask her a question, if she doesn't respond keep moving closer and asking the question until she hears you."
The man goes home and sees his wife preparing dinner. He stands 15 feet behind her and says, "What's for dinner, honey?" He gets no response, so he moves to 10 feet behind her and asks again. Still no response, so he moves to five feet-still no answer. Finally he stands directly behind her and says, "Honey, what's for dinner?"
She replies, "For the fourth time, I SAID CHICKEN!"

Tools of the Trade May 2011

Greetings!
May is one of my favorite months of the year. It means we are almost to the second season of the year for most of the U.S.; summer. Here in Texas it means we are halfway through our first of two annual seasons, green and brown. Some of my favorite people celebrate birthdays this month, and we also have the observance of Mother's Day (love you Mom) as well as Memorial Day. May also brings us official barbeque month, and the Kentucky Derby, and I am sure dozens of other events worth celebrating. Check out the Links tab on the left for a list of things to celebrate this month!
On May 19th, I will be getting "locked up" to help raise money for MDA. Tips & Tricks
 We have spent hours making a surface, and the boundary and void areas have changed. Is there a way to adjust the surface like this in Carlson without having to completely re-do the surface?
 Absolutely. In fact, even Autodesk Civil 3D has functions that will do the same thing. The need to update or change is ever present, it is important that my software be able to allow such changes without forcing me to do everything over.
