Greetings!

When Irish eyes are smiling,
Sure, 'tis like the morn in Spring.
In the lilt of Irish laughter
You can hear the angels sing.
When Irish hearts are happy,
All the world seems bright and gay.
And when Irish eyes are smiling,
Sure, they steal your heart away.

Can you believe it is March already?!?!?!?! February is a short month as it is , but this one flew by without anyone noticing. The weather around the country has been crazy and it seems those who can work are! We are getting more and more inquiries on training, consulting, software, and hardware every day. This is a good sign that things are in fact picking up. I know I am the eternal optimist and many are sick of the cheer, but I really do see good things on the way!

We are seeing positive trends in the credit market and are seeing money become a little more available than it has been in the past and are even looking at a few options to offer financing terms on purchases. I hope to have details on that in the next newsletter!

I say it every month and hope I have not said it so much that you ignore it, but remember that we are here to help you in any way we can. If you need a quick web training or a refresher, we have these tools available for you. I just got off the phone/web with a client who had questions about a Surface Model and wanted me to watch as he did it to make sure they are on the right path. We can put together a package for your company too so these type training options are available to you when you need them.

Whatever I can do to help, I will. Just remember to remember us when you need the help or need that AutoCAD/Carlson software upgrade or extra seat. Think of us when you need a day of training. We are here for you.

Tips & Tricks

Is Carlson Survey REALLY that great? Is it REALLY that easy to use?

The shortest, most simple, most honest answer I can give is YES! Carlson Survey is a VERY powerful Survey program that was written for Surveyors, not as an afterthought. I have found very few programs as easy to use that still have the same amount of power and flexibility (but keep an eye out next month as I believe I may have another great product to demonstrate) as Carlson Survey does. I am partial to the Carlson Survey StandAlone (with embedded AutoCAD), but the program also comes as an add-on to AutoCAD or with IntelliCAD. Any way you look at it you are getting a GREAT Surveying program that was written FOR Surveyors. Click here to see a short video of just how easy to use Carlson Survey is.

24+3 GPS Configuration Will Increase Accuracy (from GPS World) - "The [24+3] initiative will take up to 24 months to fully implement as satellites are repositioned within the constellation based on constellation health. The beneficial impact to all GPS users, including civilian users, will be slowly realized during that time period.
