Traffic Accident
|
| A man and his wife are in a terrible traffic accident. The husband is lying unconscious in the car
while his wife frantically calls 911. After explaining she needs an ambulance the
911 operator asks the lady for her location.
"We are on Eucalyptus Road." She explained.
"Can you spell that for me?" Replies the operator.
The wife begins, "Eu.
Euc. Can I drag him over to Oak
and you pick him up there?"

Tools of the Trade January 2010
|
Greetings!
Happy New Year! I hope you made it through the last few weeks safely and without adding too many inches to the waistband. I do hope the holidays were kind to you and you were able to spend time with the people most important to you. I made it a point to count each of the blessings I have and tried not to worry about the things I don't have. If I came out of 2009 with anything good it was the simple ability to appreciate what I have even more.
According to the network news 2010 is not looking so bright, but then again they also told us we were getting an inch of snow in Austin a few weeks ago. I went outside and followed the tips my uncle and others taught me when I was growing up and most importantly went with my gut and never went to the store to stock up on staples and buy firewood. Turns out my gut was right. My gut is telling me that 2010 is going to be better than 2009 was.
We live in a great state, in a great country with millions of great people. People who have succeeded for generations by sheer determination and strong work ethic. To me it really doesn't matter what is happening in Washington D.C. or on Wall Street, the people of this great nation are what is going to make 2010 a great year.
So to everyone who is struggling to get by, yet too determined to throw in the towel, I say thank you and wish you the best of luck. You will make it. And as one of the most brilliant writers once said; "And will you succeed? Yes, you will indeed! (98 3/4% guaranteed). Kid, You'll move mountains!"
CDS is here to help you move those mountains. We are here to help on training, support, software, new GPS systems, data prep and models, or in any other way we can. See our success depends on yours and that makes us committed to you 100%.
With that, I wish you all the best for 2010 and know that we are behind you 100% and here when you need us.
Sincerely, Paul M. Carlson CDS - President

How can you create good presentations for clients without buying more software for presentations?
Does that question look familiar? This month's Tech Tip is a continuation of creating presentations. This month we look at taking a file from AutoCAD and laying it in to Google Earth. Click here to watch the video.
