Altus News
Why Altus?
Over the last few months we have focused on the technical
reasons, but technically those are not the only reasons to do business with
Altus. While there are more than enough
technical reasons to buy Altus there are compelling commercial and design
features which ensure the Altus APS-3 will be a runaway success and bring
profits to your business.
If you have seen
their ads in industry publications you have no doubt seen their tag line,
"Better by Design". This design actually begins with the team responsible
for building, designing and distributing the APS-3.
While the Altus team is confident they have assembled a
receiver that rivals any receiver on the market and comes with more features as
standard than we are used to seeing, their focus goes beyond the product to
their team. To quote the Altus website, "Altus is truly integrating the
customer and dealer with the manufacturer. We actively engage our dealers
in the direction of our business and many of our dealers are or will be
shareholders thus strengthening the partnerships and the quality of the product
and service offered the customer."
What does this mean for you, the Surveyor or Contractor
looking to purchase GPS equipment? This means that not only will you get
a high quality product at an amazing price, but it will be backed from your
local dealer all the way to the top of Altus Positioning. When you call
or email with a suggestion, problem or idea, Altus is listening. In fact
many of the enhancements made to the system in the last 6 months have very much
been user driven. If you are a Carlson Software client, you should be
used to how that feels which is a good reason SurvCE is the data collection
package of choice with the APS-3. How often do you find two companies partnering
together that are driven by the same passion...their client's.
If you want to see how Altus (both the company and the
product) is "Better by Design" let us show you. If you already have GPS,
let's put it side by side with the APS-3 and see the technical side of the
system and how well it performs. Then when we deliver the system and
spend time in the field with your crews training and supporting them you will
begin to see the other side of the design, the human side.
To see the system in action call our office at 877-335-4016
