Greetings!

Happy Valentine's Day!
If you didn't get your fill of cakes and candies in November and December you will get your chance again in February!

Perhaps something non-traditional this year for the love of your life...a data collector, or some on-site consulting!  Your sweetheart will be the envy of...ok maybe that's not the best idea for a gift, but we do have GPS systems, data collectors, total stations and software in stock ready when you are.

Not only have we spent the last year expanding our staff, we have also been beefing up our inventory.  Our goal is to have "systems in stock ready to ship" at all times.  This means our total stations will ship charged and calibrated, our data collectors will have software installed and registered, and our GPS systems will be ready to go out of the box!

Speaking of ready to go, we have tons of information that is "ready to go" too.  Individuals like John, Joe and Damon are packed full of knowledge and are just waiting to help.  So when you buy that piece of software or hardware from us, you can rest easy knowing we have got your back!

At CDS we are not like a box of chocolates (although we are pretty sweet), you always know what you are going to get; the best price, the highest quality, the right product, and a team of experts with you the entire way.

Paul M. Carlson

Tech Report

Abraham Lincoln's name has come up quite a bit in recent days and "Honest Abe" finds himself in our news letter this month.  On January 20, 2009 the first black president of the United States took the oath of office on the very same bible "The Great Emancipator" did back in 1861.

What many forget is that while Lincoln was the 16th President of the United States of America, a Legislator, and a Congressman, from 1833 to 1837 he was a Surveyor.  Read the rest of the story here...

Email your questions to support@carlsonds.com and your question could be here next month!
