Invest In Your Business!

Now is the time to invest in your business (no really it is!)

In these difficult economic times, companies that will survive are those who are investing in their business. When the economy sags, business should be focusing on cost cutting measures. Technology improvements can help customers do more with less. You should be examining the processes in your business that are time consuming and error prone such as shipping, physical inventory, purchasing, etc. Special attention should be taking to examining your inventory levels.

Like the banks that are failing, don't let dead stock that is not selling hurt your business. Post it on your website, call the customers that have purchased it in the past, case in point one of my customers donated their product (food) to Charity. I have seen my customers make modest investments in technology or training and bring down their inventory levels by 5-15%.

Most of you have the tools in house to do this, let MCS help show you the way. Studies have shown the best strategy for any wholesale distributor is to cut costs associated with carrying too much inventory. Now is the time.
