FRIENDSHIP |
What would we do without our friends? Friendship is the sweetness of life. Probably no other form of relationship is more important, because true friends really have a special way of just loving us unconditionally. We start making friends at a very young age and develop friendships throughout the course of our lives. In my life I have carried my friend Katie from childhood, Dionne and Debbie and a handful from adolescence, Kristi and Maria from college, and as the years have gone into my adulthood another handful.
Friends come and go, but then there are those that last a lifetime. People become friends for a number a different reasons; sports, children, work. But, what is it that allows people to remain friends even after life circumstances have changed? Well, that is the mystery of friendship. Many of my friends live far away, but when we see each other it is like we were never apart. We laugh, cry, and laugth until we cry. There seems to be a very special soul connection among lifetime friends that circumstances can't change. That is the real beauty of friendship.
Making friends, like any relationship, is an art. We must tend to our relationships and nurture them. In order to have a friend we must learn to be one. This is the key to success. No one-sided relationship ever succeeds.
So this is my wish for all of you in becoming perfectly you. FRIENDSHIP!
