| James Britto
Candidate for 2012 Treasurer
| My name is James Britto. I am currently a Director at DAR, as well as Education Committee Chair. I offer myself as a candidate for the position of 2012 DAR Treasurer. Let me start off with how I would like to differentiate myself from other candidates for Treasurer. The position of Treasurer is considered an "Executive Committee" position at DAR, and is often one of the positions that can lead to President-Elect and ultimately President. While I would be honored to, at some point, be considered for that leadership role, I would like to focus on the position of Treasurer, to ensure the fiscal viability of The Association and that it will continue to thrive and serve for years to come. While the position is currently limited to one year terms, I offer myself as a candidate with the idea that I would like to potentially serve for more than one year. This would give me a chance to fully envelope myself in The Association's finances, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and allow this position to focus on the financial aspects of how The Association will meet its financial goals and obligations, without the automatic expectation of an ascension to another position within DAR. Experience:, DAR Director 2009-Present; Budget and Finance Committee 2010-Present; President of NAHREP Contra Costa-Solano Counties 2010-Present Third generation resident native of East Contra Costa County. Education: B.A., Saint Mary's College of California ; Saint Mary's College of CA Graduate School of Education. In real estate, I hold the designations of SRES, SFR, CHS.

| Lori Ogorchock
Candidate For Director
|
My name is Lori Ogorchock and I am seeking the position of Director with the Delta Association of Realtors. I would like to first mention that I am very familiar with the current economic conditions and issues most prevalent in the real estate industry as I am a full time working realtor, mother, wife and longtime East County resident. As a Realtor, I am focused on improving and educating myself and bringing that mindset to all activities I am involved. Professionally I strive for accountability, humility and make communication the first priority in all things. I am currently participating on two Committees within the 2010-2011 Board, Local Government Relations and the Strategic Planning Committee. When I am voted in as a director for the Delta Association of Realtors, I most look forward to continued service to my community and association. By becoming a Director I would be able to help shape the future for fellow Realtors, as well as, shaping the future of our industry in the ever changing East County region. |
| Lynn Valintis
Candidate For 2012 Director
| |
Lynn has been a Realtor and top producer since 1995, first in Illinois and since 2003 in California with Sharp Realty. She is a current Director at DAR and Vice-Chair of the Bylaws Committee. She has served on local WCR boards both in IL and CA, is a past Local Chapter President of the Delta Chapter and a 2011 California State District Vice President. Lynn has a true passion for real estate and our industry and a true spirit of volunteerism. Truly, the biggest challenges facing not just DAR, but all organizations, especially those that rely on volunteers, in these tough economic times are membership and involvement. One of Lynn's goals for 2012 is to inspire members to renew their memberships and take advantage of the tremendous educational opportunities available through DAR. Secondly, work to improve the programs offered to our members to ensure their retention, keeping their best interests at the forefront.

| Ron Keefer
Candidate For Director
| My statement as candidate for Board of Directors of Delta Association of Realtors Having held a real estate broker's license (#00404578) since 1974 and having owned my own real estate brokerage and managed a real estate partnership, I have seen numerous changes in our profession. Currently our market and its added complexities of distressed properties require new and refocused commitments for all real estate professionals. Those commitments include: 1) continuous education on the rapid changes of our market, 2) continuous education of our clients who must depend on our expertise in real estate matters, (after all we are working with distressed clients more than distressed properties), 3) leadership in our office, community and profession, and 4) ethics and fair dealing within the family of agents with whom we come in contact. My qualifications include experience of business ownership (above), past service in a previous real estate association as a member of various committees, C.A.R. representative, vice president and president of that association, and more recently service on DAR Education and Budget committees. My interests and concerns regard: 1) Legal and government issues, 2) Communications and disclosure, 3) Education, 4) Market conditions unique to East CC County. Fellow DAR members, my qualifications, experience and interests I believe will serve our association, profession and community well. I ask for your support as candidate for DAR Board of Directors. |
