Case #2-1 Disclosure of Pertinent Facts (Revised Case #9-4. Transferred to Article 2 November, 1994.)
REALTORŪ A, acting as a management agent, offered a vacant house for rent to a prospective tenant, stating to the prospect that the house was in good condition. Shortly after the tenant entered into a lease and moved into the house, he filed a complaint against REALTORŪ A with his Board of REALTORSŪ, charging misrepresentation, since a clogged sewer line and a defective heater had been discovered, contrary to REALTORŪ A's statement that the house was in good
condition.

| Tax Credit Payback
Some 2008 Buyers Might Be Affected
|
If you had buyers who purchased after April 8, 2008 and claimed the $7,500 Tax Credit on their 2008 tax return they may be getting notices from the IRS that the credit was a no interest loan and they are told to repay the loan at up to $500 per year for 15 years.
