| 2010 Installation Ceremonies Successful
New Beginnings Theme

DAR's 2010 President and the Officers and Directors were installed on January 16 at the Lone Tree Event Center. 2010 State President, Steve Goddard handled the task of swearing in Denise Stewart, DAR's 2010 President. Member Tangie Leverett, officially titled Region 5 Regional Chair installed the balance of the officers and directors. Ralph Garrow, Jr was named the 2009 Realtor of the Year and Candice Hoover received the award for Affiliate of the Year. There were two recipients of the Distinguished Service Award; Tangie Leverett and outgoing president, Darnella Barnes The event was attended by approximately 120 members and guests who enjoyed a very nice meal followed by dancing to the music of Project 4.

State Meetings Coming Up in February
Indian Wells, California

 Early in February, six members of the DAR will be on their way to Indian Wells to attend CAR's winter director meetings. CAR has almost 900 members of their board of directors and it is an amazing sight to see them all in one big room as they deliberate on statewide REALTOR issues. If you have concerns that you feel need to be brought up please contact DAR President Denise Stewart.
