Dear  ,
Welcome to DeltaNewsViews!
Vacant Property Alert
SCAMS
We have reports of vacant listed properties that are "occupied" by people who claim to have paid a deposit and rent.  But the occupant had not paid the true owner of the property.  Instead someone posing as the owner has collected the rents and deposits, never again to be found.  We have heard that police have not been able to help.
Whether you are a listing or buyer's agent, we suggest that any vacant property be monitored frequently.  Removal of the combo boxes may be prudent, especially since combo codes in agent listing printouts may be getting into the wrong hands.
If you have something to report, please call John Bedford, Executive Officer, DAR at 925-757-8283.

GRI - The Professional Edge
Set Yourself Apart
Earn the designation that makes a difference and increases your income. The REALTORŪ Institute has graduated thousands of REALTORSŪ. These professionals find the GRI designation a powerful tool for attracting and building new business as well as staying on the cutting edge of real estate standards.

In today's competitive business environment you need more than just
motivation and initiative to succeed, you need the advantage of the
education you receive in the GRI program.

The Graduate REALTORŪ Institute (GRI) designation indicates to buyers, sellers and other real estate industry professionals that you have made the commitment to provide a high level of professional service to your clients by securing a strong educational foundation.

The GRI designation is obtained by attending a specific, intensive
series of courses that total a minimum of 90 hours of classroom
instruction. Subjects covered include the Sales Process (business
development, sales and marketing, customer & client services, and
cultural diversity) Legal and Regulatory (risk management and contract law) Technology (communications and real estate business technology), and Professional Standards (NAR code of ethics, standards of practice and arbitration/mediation).

The subject matter has been chosen to educate practitioners about local, state and national real estate practices that affect them and their clients. GRI courses are taught by leading real estate professionals from around the country.

In today's competitive busines environment you need more than just
motivation and initiative to succeed, you need the advantage of the
education you receive in the GRI program.
