Business Planning Courses 

Planning a business? We have the resources to help you!

Sign up for our Business Planning courses and learn key elements of planning a successful business. The program is broken in to clusters and offers a flexible, rotating schedule (repeats 4-times per year) so you can start immediately on March 31 and finish in three months or plan ahead to finish in a year.

Each course cluster consists of three 4-hour sessions, from 8am to 12pm, with one final overview at completion of all three clusters.

Congratulations to the AZSBDC 2012 Success Award Winner, Sierra Seed Company! 

 Sierra Seed Company, 2012 SA

Sierra Seed Company was founded in 1989 and today is managed by Sabrina Hallman with the aid of COO, Carlos Fisher. Sierra Seed Company is "your ally in the field" when it comes to purchasing seeds to grow quality produce. 

   

Hallman was introduced to MAC SBDC in 2010, after the company's bank was sold and Sierra Seed found itself in need of a new line of credit to carry recievables in the off season. MAC SBDC connected Hallman to numerous banking contacts and eventually the one that provided a line of credit and helped finance a greenhouse expansion for the company.  

 

Hallman continunes to work with MAC SBDC for help on finance, accounting and other business topics. "SBDC workshops are exceptional. You walk out at the end of the day with new knowledge that you can put to work right away," said Hallman.
