We wish you and your family a warm and safe holiday filled with love and sharing, Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year! We will be closed for the nights of December 23rd, 24th and 25th. My mom and Jodee's mom, dad, brother and his girlfriend are coming for Christmas. There will be hugs, glorious meals, scrabble games, presents, family stories and more. We are looking forward to it all as we know we are very fortunate to have our family and the opportunity to get together. In this holiday season remember that time is one of the greatest gifts you can give but if you are looking for something to put under the tree our Gift Certificates, Jodee's Cookbook and those luxurious sheets make gifts that are sure to please as well. Just give us a call and we will get them sent your way.

New Asheville Food Tour Special

The new Asheville Food Tour is a great way to discover the unique flavors of Asheville! Jodee and I took one of the Downtown Tours a couple of weeks ago and it was a blast! We discovered new places and revisited some that had fallen off our radar. Several guest have taken the tours since and have all given it rave reviews. Our Food Tour Special allows you to add one Asheville Food Tour for only $25 to any stay from now to March 31st and get a second tour free. On these 2-1/2 hr. guided walking tours of the city's culinary treasures you will meet chefs/owners, watch food demos and try some of their signature dishes. You even get discounts to return during the rest of your stay. So book a tour early in your visit and return to your favorites. TV's Added to Two Rooms

About a third of you that responded to our survey last summer said that you would like to have TV's in the room. In response to that we are installing a 32" high definition TV in the Fern Room and the Barn Room this week. We are also upgrading the TV in the great room to HD. We know that a stay at Bent Creek Lodge does not revolve around TV, there are way too many other things to do, however we hope that some of you will enjoy the option. We chose the Fern Room and Barn Room because they are not adjacent to other guest rooms so we do not think anyone will be disturbed by the change.

Last Months Quiz Had 20 Winners in First Hour

You folks can jump on a multiple choice contest! There were 20 winners before some of you ever got off work. In fact, I think some of the winners just might have still been at work.
