Amos House salutes Armeather Gibbs

Armeather Gibbs awardAt the American Dream Gala put on by Amos House last month, COO Armeather Gibbs accepted an award for her ongoing efforts to help others fulfill their American dreams.

"I have had the unique privilege of building a career and being involved in my community for many years," Gibbs said.  "What I have learned and what I give back has been guided and supported by many terrific people. It is an honor and a privilege to be recognized by Amos House for doing what I care most about every day."

The American Dream Gala, which raised more than $100,000 for Amos House's programs to help the poor and homeless, drew a crowd of some 200 to the Hope Artiste Village in Pawtucket.

"I believe that we all have something to give, on some level, to help each other and to help make Rhode Island a better place for all," Gibbs added.
