Pray for our critical strategic planning session
in Israel in February, 2009

Following the historic first ever LCMS direct evangelism outreach in Tel Aviv in January 2009, the leaders of The Apple of His Eye will spend three critical days in a strategic planning session in Israel. (See our web site for a report on the outreach: www.appleofhiseye.org) We will be meeting with key Lutheran leaders from other countries to develop a working document leading to full-time missionary efforts among the over six million Jewish people there.
We seek your prayers for the team going there including Steve & Nancy Cohen, Alan Butterworth, and Rev. Alexey Shepelev from Moscow.
Our Prayer Requests
1. For wisdom for the leadership in priortizing the needs;
2. For the right team to emerge in service there;
3. For the resuouces to conduct an effective outreach among the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel;
4. For safety in travel to the Middle East.
