Are you working in a multi-agency collaboration? Is your collaboration working to collect and use data to support program impacts? If so, you are probably encountering challenges that such an effort involves -- from establishing meaningful common data definitions, to getting staff buy-in, to using data to improve the impact you have on program participants.
On Wednesday, April 25, from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. ET, join Public/Private Ventures (P/PV), Child Trends and experienced practitioners from the Providence After School Alliance and Youth Development Inc. in New Mexico for a 1-hour webinar that will offer field-tested advice on how to:
* Pick the right indicators and data management system * Build support among participating staff and establish accountability * Figure out how to analyze and use the data * Sustain the system, so it has a lasting impact
The webinar builds off the February P/PV and Child Trends report, Using Data in Multi-Agency Collaborations: Guiding Performance to Ensure Accountability and Improve Programs.
Drawing on lessons from rock 'n roll greats like the Beatles, the webinar will explore case examples from P/PV's recent history of collaborative partnerships, including with Children's Futures -- a citywide effort to improve the health and well-being of children from birth to age three in Trenton, New Jersey -- and Elev8 -- a community middle school model that focuses on middle grade youth in low-income communities.
Whether you are just getting started with your collaboration or have been doing it for some time, there will be something for everyone on this engaging webinar!
Webinar participants:
* Meridith Polin, Program Director, P/PV * Karen Walker, Senior Research Scientist/Program Area Co-Director, Child Trends * Elizabeth Devaney, Quality Consultant, Providence After School Alliance * Cathy Hammer, Elev8 Data Specialist, Elev8 New Mexico
