The sounds of learning
Students return to ACR preserves
As of this week, the sights, smells and sounds of early fall are being enjoyed by elementary schoolchildren from throughout the Bay Area.
The students' return to ACR preserves is met with anticipation and excitement by our staff and volunteers, as we hope to find 'just that thing' that sparks a love and appreciation of nature in young minds.
We are so grateful to our financial supporters and volunteer educators who make this possible. |

Heron and Egret Atlas
Now available through Amazon
The Heron and Egret Atlas Project is the result of ACR's continuing commitment to the protection of nesting herons and egrets in our region.
The atlas covers an area of nearly 14,000 square kilometers, extending from the outer Pacific Coast to the Central Valley of California in the north and the Santa Clara Valley and interior East Bay subregions in the south.
A longtime resource for developers, scientists, naturalists and homeowners, the Atlas is now available through Amazon by searching 'heron' and 'egret' or clicking here. |
