Memorial Service for John Shadle
A memorial service for John Shadle will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 11:00am on Tuesday, June 2, 2009. 

Those needing transportation to the memorial should be at University United Methodist Church by 9:45am and we will carpool to the service.  Those driving to the memorial should park behind the administration building.  We will be taken to the memorial site promptly at 10:45am. A picnic lunch will be provided following the service at the park adjoining the cemetery.  Detailed maps will be available at church next week.  If you have questions, please contact Brad Hershey at 567-6958 or Bonnie Dee at 477-7432.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the UUMC Bell Choir to purchase individual bells in memory of John.

UUMC is going to Circus Flora!  Join us on Sunday, June 7 for the 1:00pm performance of Circus Flora for a wonderful afternoon at the circus.  Tickets are $18.00 each.  $4.50 from each ticket will go to support The United Methodist Black College Fund.

Members of UUMC are cordially invited to the Eagle Scout Court of Honor for Thomas Finkenkeller, who is a member of Troop 493.  The ceremony will be at 5 p.m. Sunday, May 31, 2009, at UUMC.
