BMS STUDENTS TAKE ON CYSTIC FIBROSIS
 Oct. 6th - Oct. 24th NJHS is selling paper "roses" for $1.00 during all lunch periods. All money earned will go directly to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Thursday, October 23rd, all PE and Health classes will be participating in their own walk for Cystic Fibrosis. Please come out and join your son/daughter during their PE or Health period. Let's help find a cure for CF! On Saturday, Oct. 25th NJHS will take part in the "Great Strides Walk" for this cause. The walk will be held at Oyster Creek Park starting at 8:00 am. Taking Steps to Cure Cystic Fibrosis is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's largest national fund-raising event.
BAINES FOOTBALL UPDATE
All the Football teams are playing great and the 8th grade "A Team" is undefeated, at 4-0. There are only two more games in regular season play, so come out and cheer your Longhorns on!

BOOK FUNDRAISER ENDING SOON!
The cookie dough sale ends this Friday, October 17th, however we encourage students that would like the extra time to sell this weekend to turn their orders in by next Wednesday at 4:00pm.
Please double check to make sure their orders are complete and the correct amount of money is included when you turn them in. Your PTO will be collecting packets on stage before school and during lunches on Friday, Monday, and Tuesday, and in the morning only on Wednesday the 22nd.
COOKIE DOUGH DELIVERY AND PICKUP IS EXPECTED IN MID NOVEMBER. This year Baines PTO will earn 50% on everything sold! If you have questions, please contact Cindy Irwin at cirwintexas@aol.com or 281-778-8849.
