Ongoing Support for ITI and Partner in Oromia Region, Ethiopia
The Lavelle F und for the Blind has decided to extend its work in Ethiopia through 2013 with ITI and its longtime local partner, Grarbet Tehadiso Mahber (GTM). The decision means increased support for all components of the WHO-supported SAFE strategy, which includes surgery, antibiotics, face-washing and environmental changes. Read More

ITI 10th Anniversary Report Wins Design Award
Graphic Design USA honored ITI's 10th Anniversary Report 1998-2008 with a 2009 Design Award. Karen Simon, president of the design firm Simon Does, received the award in March 2010 and notified ITI saying, "Congratulations, we all share in this award!"

ITI Team Grows Stronger
The ITI team continues to grow stronger with the addition of two new staff members:
Elizabeth Kurylo is the Communications Manager for ITI. She is responsible for carrying out all communications-related activities. Prior to joining ITI, Beth worked as a journalist and as a communications director for Emory University in Atlanta, GA.

Fernanda Debellian is the Logistics Coordinator for ITI. She is responsible for assisting in all matters related to the coordination of shipments of Zithromax to recipient countries, analysis and reporting, and liaising with recipient countries and Pfizer. Fernanda most recently served as the Logistics Manager at Shell Brasil.
