The Powered By NPower Community Technology Initiative will involve a quarter of the region's nonprofits in a bold leap forward to facilitate collaboration among local nonprofits and to stabilize nonprofits' infrastructure.

NPower Launches New Service Offering
On October 1, 2008 NPower launched Scheduled Services: a fully comprehensive solution for nonprofit technology support. NPower's consulting work with Charlotte region nonprofits revealed the need for reliable, proactive, and affordable tech support.
NPower Scheduled Services includes help desk support and scheduled onsite maintenance visits at a fixed monthly rate to help organizations stabilize and maintain their technology infrastructure. Regular strategic reviews focus on planning for future needs and target technology areas that will help the organization operate more efficiently.
Starting with two lead clients in fall 2008, Foundation For The Carolinas and The Duke Endowment, Scheduled Services has grown to five clients under support with plans to extend services to 40-50 clients over the next two years.
"The strategic review process of Scheduled Services has helped us prioritize our technology improvement goals," said Deb Watt, Sr. Vice President of Finance and Operations, of Foundation For The Carolinas. "This has enabled us to focus our resources in order to achieve the greatest impact." What is Scheduled Services? |
