Notice of Expulsion of Membership - June 3, 2011
In accordance with the bylaws of the Bakersfield Association of REALTORS®, members are hereby notified that broker, Rueben R. Zamudio, has been expelled from membership in the Bakersfield Association of REALTORS® for violation of Articles 1, 2 and 11 of the REALTORS® Code of Ethics and failure to comply with the disciplinary requirements. Disciplinary sanctions cited: Mr. Zamudio to pay a fine in the amount of $1,000 within 30 calendar days; and to sucessfully complete Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) Courses #100, "Agency Relationships, Duties and Disclosures" and #101 "Ethics, Professional Conduct, and Legal Aspects" by May 31, 2011. Failure to comply shall automatically result in expulsion of Association membership for a period of one (1) year. This action was recommended by a Professional Standards Panel and adopted by a panel of the Board of Directors following a hearing. Due process was given according to the procedures outlined in the California Code of Ethics and Arbitration Manual. |
