Statement on VAT
|
We note that the rate of VAT was reduced on Monday 1st
December from 17.5% to 15% for a period of 13 months. As a charitable company,
with very limited staff, it would cost us a lot of time and effort to go
through our catalogue, computer database and website in order to change the rate of VAT. In view
of this, we hope that you will understand that we have decided to slightly
increase the base price of our vatable goods, such as DVDs, in order to keep
the RRP the same. For example, a £10 DVD would have had a base price of £8.51.
We have increased this to £8.70, in order to keep the RRP at £10. We hope that
you will consider this modest increase to be as if it were a 'donation', as it
will save us considerable time and costs.
If you object to this increase, then we will sell such
materials with reduced VAT, if you tell us this at the time of purchase, for a
limited period until January 31st 2009. Thus, a £10 DVD would cost
£9.79. Please inform us that you wish to purchase at reduced VAT at the time of
purchase, as we will not be able to give a refund. However, we hope that you
will understand our reasoning for this slight increase, which would not
actually affect the amount you pay.
The VAT decrease does not affect books, which are rated at
0%.

Darwin and Darwinism
|
Darwin and Darwinism: 200 Lost Years is the title of the documentary film, being produced by Answers in Genesis (UK/Europe), in conjunction with Two by Two Worship, and John Mackay's Creation Research.
Answers in Genesis are organising a series of meetings next year, under this same title. Most of these meetings will feature two talks, including a talk on darwin by Paul Taylor. Make sure we come to your area, by contacting us to arrange a meeting during 2009. Don't miss the opportunity the Darwin anniversary in 2009 brings to get the gospel message proclaimed that the Bible's history is true!
DVD Launch!
The launch for this DVD is likely to be at Little Hill Evangelical Church, Little Hill, Wigston, Leicester on Wednesday 28th January 2009, at 7:00pm. Keep an eye on our website for details.
