NEW RESOURCES FROM OUR FRIENDS IN KENTUCKY FOR YOUR FAMILY'S TOOLBOX!

Hi friends!
Just wanted to pass on a resource. Laura Nagle andher Kentucky team have developed a guidebook for families / caregivers to fill out on behalf of their child, and then give to new teachers, therapists, care providers, etc to help others understand their child better. One is specific to FASD / prenatal alcohol exposure, the other only mentions brain differences - the info is the same in both booklets. It's in color, but prints fine in black / white.

Feel free to pass it on to anyone who might be able to use it.... Any feedback / ideas for updated future versions are welcome, as always.....Hope all is well.....
Take care, Laura Nagle, Kentucky

Thanks Laura and everyone else who made this project possible -
These are great additions for family toolboxes

Eleven-year-old Morasha Winokur makes two invisible worlds the life of a child with special needs and the life of their sibling come alive. Although specifically written regarding Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders, her well-communicated observations are applicable to other diagnoses. As a result, My Invisible World should be recommended reading for all school personnel, pediatric healthcare providers, and health policymakers. Bless Morasha for her quietly emotional, loudly effective improvement of my own vision.
