The Connecticut Department of Children and Families employed Walt Piszchala for 33 years (now retired), working with children in a variety of capacities, in residential care.  For 27 of those years Walt worked as a trainer in the field of Crisis Intervention and Health and Safety, teaching both verbal and physical intervention technique and CPR, AED, First Aid, Blood Borne Pathogens Walt retired from the Connecticut Juvenile Training School as a full-time training coordinator. His main focus had been in the development and implementation of a comprehensive behavior management and crisis intervention program. READ MORE

OK! OK! I know walking on air is not my mission in
life and the aftermath is a royal pain in the butt. For those who I will see personally in the next two weeks expect to see me decked out in scrubs - I looked into my closet and there was not much I could put on without a lot of pain. 1 week down
and 7 to go for jodee!
This injury put my family into mom bootcamp!
