5 Tips to STOP Late Night Eating
|
We all know that eating late is a bad idea. Nothing good can happen when we consume extra late night calories then sit and watch T.V. or waste time on Facebook not burning them off. Because it's not always easy to say no to the evening munchies I've got 5 easy tips to pull this off.
1. Have a complete and satisfying dinner. Make sure you get a huge hit of veggie's, a proper serving of lean protein, as well as good fats. It's the fats that fill you up, make you satisfied, and keep you full longer.
2. Sit down and focus on your food while you eat. You wont feel satisfied if you eat an amazing salad in the car or standing in your kitchen.
3. Close the kitchen when dinner is over! Finish eating, prep your food for the next day, clean up, and close it down! When the kitchen is closed it's CLOSED! Treat it as if you are not even allowed in there, because your not... it's closed!
4. Brush your teeth. I mean REALLY brush your teeth. Do a dentist style good job! Having a clean minty mouth kills your cravings!
5. Water. No matter what a few hours later you think you are SO hungry. Well... your not! And I can prove it. If you get hungry within 2-3 hours of eating (umm go to sleep already) drink a giant glass of water and you'll quickly realize you are in fact NOT hungry but rather thirsty and bored.
