Voltaire, who is buried in the necropolis of Paris' Pantheon featured above, may not have known of mediation, but he sure as heck might endorse it if he were alive today!
Voltaire's observation about the lose-lose nature of litigation graces the walls of the Philadelphia office of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). That and other quotes from famous folks remind us that litigation is a poor substitute for alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
