Are Lawsuits Chewing up Your Time & Money?
Mediate, Don't Litigate!
So, you've got a junkyard dog for a litigator, and it's costing you plenty. Any lawsuit more than six months old is ripe for mediation. In fact, one to two days of non-binding mediation is a sound investment for lawsuits at any stage. Be proactive, use mediation to resolve disputes before they land in court!
Hourly rates for experienced lawyers in big downtown firms range from $350 to $650 or more per hour. The average hourly rate of lawyers nationally today is $250. Pursuing litigation can easily run up six figure fees.
Lawsuits, with their interminable discovery, disruption, and ill will, can strap company budgets and strain resources. Take a hard look at your litigation portfolio, and consider investing in a one to two day mediation. It could save you thousands of dollars and untold time!
